MY Book

So I've decided to write a series where the first book is called Stranger. The story will generally be about an 17-year-old girl named Emma who lives in Van Buren, Maine and is close friends with a thirteen year old albino girl, whom she claims as a sister. Don't worry she also has friends her age. Anyway, a really hot guy moves into her Edward Scissorhands-type neighborhood and he has a keen interest in her. They get to know each other but around this same time the old talk of Night-walkers once used to scare the kids is springing back into action and for Emma and her good friend Bavard, the thirteen year old, these stories are no longer tales, they become truths of life. Bavard and Emma face many challenges as they try to uncover the suspicious connections between Cale, the Nightwalker; Dawson the Dream-stalker; and Caleb, the suspicious hot guy down the street. Things take a drastic turn as the story comes to an end. For Emma, nothing will ever be the same.

Vampire Academy Series

The Vampire Academy Series is the best I have ever read. It is, and I quote, "better than Twilight". Of course twilight is all sentimental and emotional and whatnot and that's sweet. But when the girl is the badass fighting to get the love she's always wanted to hold her again, it's ten times better. Within six books, Richelle Mead has been able to capture myself and my group of friends and we are literally obsessed with the adventures of the main character Rosemarie Hathaway and her lover/instructor Dimitri Belikov. From serving her best friend and trying to redeem her long lost Strigoi-turned lover, Rose has been labeled the girl most likely to fight and kick a**. But, lucky for us, it doesn't end there.
Richelle Mead is working to present us with the spin-off series of Bloodlines which is centered around a few supporting characters, one of them being Sydney, the Alchemist. It will be continued from the ending point of the VA series and is said to release August 2011.
Like the rest of you, for me, the date seems to be forever away. But luckily the series doesn't end at VA.
Boy, will I dread the day Richelle Mead can no longer write about those characters.
